Ten years ago, I was in a rut.

Despite some solid wins and climbing the career ladder, something felt…off.

I’d worked my way up the hierarchy, yet something always felt a bit off. Collaboration felt clunky. My feedback didn't land. And let's just say I wasn't always who you'd hope to see by the coffee machine 😳.

Then, the universe stepped in, and I got to take the CliftonStrengths assessment. For the first time, I found a personality assessment that gave me the words to describe my approach to the world and pinpointed why things weren't lining up. What a relief to know what was going wrong and how I could switch it up.

I kind of fell in love with CliftonStrengths and dove headfirst into the full version. I retooled everything from my communication tactics to my relationship strategies. I didn't become someone new; I evolved into a more effective version of my fabulous self. Relationships improved, bosses got less grating, and life just got brighter.

That change was so profound that I went all in—became a Gallup-certified Strengths coach and trainer, waved goodbye to my fancy philanthropy gig, and launched COS & Company in 2017.

I haven't looked back since!

Now, I run COS & Company, guiding teams on self-discovery adventures and providing consulting and executive coaching to 'take work from bland to grand.' I've earned various certifications and designed workshops that promote open, authentic workplaces. I even had the incredible opportunity to train under Brené Brown, becoming a Dare to Lead™ facilitator and embracing her philosophy of developing empathy, vulnerability, and courage.

Curious about the formal stuff? I earned a Master of Education from Harvard University and Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley. I also trained as an ICF Professional Certified Coach, NLI Brain-Based Conversations Coach, and Master Facilitator by AJ&Smart.
